We are here to create new viable value chains based on carbon neutral biomaterials. We produce Climate Oil™ by fermenting renewable carbon from organic byproducts or CO2 from point sources, resulting in an oil with minimal carbon footprint that can be used as a direct substitute for unsustainable vegetable oils. Our goal is to help industrial partners reduce their carbon footprint and produce sustainable consumer products that contribute to generational life quality. We envision a future where a high quality of life, supported by sustainable products and services, is accessible to all. Driven by the strong interest in the products from companies and investors, the founding team decided to co-found COLIPI GmbH. With a state-of-the-art fermentation laboratory, extensive oil analysis resources and more than a decade of experience in industrial biotechnology, Colipi GmbH has earned the trust of major corporations as their preferred R&D service partner. Its track record includes the successful completion of numerous commercial projects, leading to the initiation of further collaborations. This innovative process converts CO2 with the help of O2 and H2 into single cell oil, making it a suitable feedstock for the HEFA (hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids) process and offering industrial partners the opportunity to turn their CO2 emissions into net profits.
